This holiday season, Cabarrus Brewing Company and Towel City Tavern are proud to launch the Gifts of Joy drive, a community initiative benefitting the Church of God Children’s Home of North Carolina in Concord as it deals with impacts from Hurricane Helene.
The storm forced the Home to cancel its largest fundraiser of the year, straining resources while caring for more than 20 children – nine of whom were taken in after Helene personally impacted their families.
What started as a typical Angel tree initiative has now grown into three parts:
-
gifts
Angel Trees
Help fulfill the Christmas wishes for one of more than 20 children by selecting a tag from our Angel Trees, available at:
- Cabarrus Brewing Company
- Towel City Tavern
Simply choose a tag, purchase and wrap the gift, and drop it off at either location by Dec. 18.

Cottage Wishlists
Support the orphanage’s cottages by purchasing much-needed items such as mattresses, sheets, and kitchen supplies to get them through the next year under budget restraints.
